Are Smartliner liners compatible with aftermarket modifications?
Because our primary Custom Fit Liners are meticulously engineered using laser-scanning technology to perfectly match a vehicle's exact factory floor layout and contours, they may not fit properly if your vehicle has aftermarket modifications that alter the physical dimensions of the floor or cargo space. For example, our custom truck bed mats are not compatible with vehicles equipped with 3rd-party aftermarket plastic bed liners.
Recommendation for Modified Vehicles: If your vehicle has structural aftermarket changes to the floor plan, our trimmable Universal Fit Vehicle Floor Mats may be a better solution, as they are designed to be manually adjusted to fit almost any vehicle.
Important Safety Note: Because the liners are molded to perfectly match a vehicle's original factory floor footprint, any aftermarket modifications that alter the shape of the floor, the seat tracks, the center console, or the pedals could prevent the liners from fitting properly. If your modifications are strictly cosmetic or do not affect the original interior floor layout, the liners will likely still fit.
If you do install these liners in a modified vehicle, the installation guide strongly warns to test the full pedal range before driving to check for any interference.
